Care Instructions

Each Madeleine Pomander pomander is an artisanal piece, crafted by hand. To preserve its integrity, wear it with the same care you would give to a precious jewel.

Remove it before swimming — sea, pool, shower or bath — and before any physical or manual activity (sport, gardening, housework).

Avoid exposing your jewel to heat, cosmetics (creams, makeup) or knocks.

To scent your stone: gently remove it from the jewel, place it in a small dish or on a cloth, and spray your fragrance directly onto the ceramic. Never spray perfume onto the metal itself — the alcohol it contains can damage the surface over time.

Regarding the closure: never force the screw mechanism of the ball. The system is precise; excessive pressure could damage it beyond repair.

Madeleine Pomander creations can scratch one another if kept together — never store them loose without protection.

To restore your jewel's lustre, gently wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use any liquid, abrasive or chemical product — these could permanently alter the finish.
