Fragrance
becomes
jewelry.
A talisman
to scent.
Madeleine Pomander creates jewelry designed to diffuse fragrance. Each piece holds a ceramic pebble that captures perfume and releases it delicately throughout the day.
A ritual in
three gestures.
Remove the stone from the jewel, then spray your fragrance directly onto the ceramic. The porous ceramic absorbs and holds the scent for several days — never spray onto the metal.
Slide the stone inside the pendant. The openwork lattice diffuses the fragrance delicately throughout the day.
We quickly forget our own scent on our skin. The stone keeps it intact. Breathe it in, and savour the moment.
Three pieces,
to scent as you wish.
Which fragrances
for our jewelry?
Woody, amber, musky, or vanilla — these families last longest on ceramic.
Citrus notes (bergamot, lemon) evaporate faster — and need more frequent renewal.
One pebble per fragrance. Ceramic holds scent memory — mixing fragrances alters them both.
